Energy efficiency and environmental responsibility have always
been important issues at TDS. Our firm is a member of Green
Built Home, an organization which reviews and certifies projects
that meet sustainable building practices and progressive
energy efficiency standards, and several TDS projects have
received Green Built Home certification. We aim to exceed
state building code energy efficiency standards on every
project.
Home owners are increasingly concerned with energy efficiency,
health issues, product durability, and environmental conservation,
and we employ a building systems approach to address those
issues. TDS is an active participant in the Home Performance
with Energy Star home evaluation program. You receive an
objective analysis of your home's performance prior to construction
and recommendations to improve air quality, energy efficiency,
and safety. We incorporate the improvements you choose with
the main remodeling work, and a follow-up analysis is done
upon completion.
