Our New Office Building

TDS Custom Construction’s new office building demonstrates our commitment to the neighborhood, the community, and the earth.

The near Eastside location means that most of our 18 employees live within two miles of their workplace. The compact new building was designed to maximize natural light and space on the small lot beside the existing TDS building. Built using a panelized framing process for maximum efficiency, the new office building was enclosed in two days during September 2008.

The existing building will now be dedicated to the carpentry and woodworking workshop. Even that building is receiving improvements that will minimize its energy footprint, including new high-efficiency light fixtures and improved insulation. TDS purchases 100% of their power through MGE’s green power program, and is an Mpowered Business Partner with the City of Madison.
